Christophe Poissonnier was born in 1961 in Roubaix and spent his childhood in France on the Belgian border. After studies in visual communication in Belgium, he moved to Luxembourg to work in a big printing company. He developed a passionate love for nature, animals and painting. He organizes exhibitions of his works occasionally. In 2004, after a long fight against cancer, he abandoned his job as an artistic director in the print house and realised his dream: becoming an animal painter. Today, he has developed his techniques, including animal cartoons and sculpture, and gives a new life to old objects (shoes for instance), transforming them into animals. His only wish: Share his love and passion for nature with his public.
